12/14/2023 Bowers Museum Double Exhibition Tour
On Thursday, December 14, 2023, the NTU Alumni Association of Southern California held a dual exhibition tour at the Bowers Museum, "Beyond the Waves" - an exhibition of classic works by Hokusai Katsushika from the British Museum Collection, and "The Power of Photography" - a collection of works by world-renowned photographers.

The Southern California NTU Alumni Association is honored to have the support of Ms. Shih Liu-Hsiu-Chih, the Chairman of the Bowers Museum, and invite Ms. Alice Yuan, the Chairman's Special Assistant, to give us an insightful Chinese guided tour of the exhibition of Hokusai's classic works. Through the expert explanation, we can fully understand Hokusai's early career, his rise to fame, his personal life, his obsession with the natural and supernatural realms, and his pursuit of immortality through art.
3/ 17/2024 - 3/27/2024 Iceland Aurora Tour
The Southern California NTU Alumni Association will host an 11-day, 9-night Iceland Aurora Land Tour from 3/17/2024 to 3/27/2024.
Iceland is a country with breathtaking scenery. It is the dream of all travel lovers. In this trip, the top ten scenic spots in Iceland recommended on the Internet are all included in our itinerary. We stayed in the Aurora Hotel throughout the trip, so we could watch the Aurora up close. We had an enthusiastic and responsible Chinese tour guide and took a large sightseeing bus with 45 seats.
The estimated travel cost is $1600 per person. Including bus, tour guide, 9 nights in Aurora Hotel + breakfast. It does not include air tickets, lunch and dinner, and $6 Euro per day tip for driver and tour guide. Please book your own air tickets.
The number of places is limited, please register as early as possible. First come first served, and no more will be accepted once the number is full.

10/21/2023 Potluck Picnic and Hiking Alumni Networking Event
The Southern California NTU Alumni Association will hold a Potluck Picnic and Hiking Alumni Networking Event on 10/21. NTU alumni and their relatives are welcome to sign up and participate.

Please bring your own dish. The Alumni Association will prepare paper cups, paper plates, knives, forks, chopsticks, paper towels and bottled water. In order to protect the environment, we also encourage everyone to bring their own tableware.

8/5/2023 The 50th Anniversary of the Southern California NTU Alumni Association
We sincerely invite you to attend the grand annual party of the Southern California NTU Alumni Association for its 50th anniversary. A full half century has witnessed our growth and cohesion. As the current board of directors, we have taken on the important task of expanding the celebration of the annual party. Our newly appointed President Chen Wen-wen, along with seven administrative directors including the Vice President and the Treasurer, and eight alumni led by the President of the Taiwan Alumni Association, Guo Min-neng, will come together to witness this important moment. The huge lineup will add more glory and support to our annual party.

The 50th electronic annual is now published
The Southern California Alumni Association was established in 1973 and has been celebrating its 50th anniversary. In the past half century, the Alumni Association has been upholding traditions and working diligently to pass on the association's affairs.
The 50th anniversary yearbook was also published under this concept. To celebrate this 50th milestone, this yearbook has added a special column for former presidents. We would like to thank the ten former presidents for their support and contributions. The yearbook is full of diverse content, and each article is wonderful and worth reading.
